CASE STUDY
KEMP SIGMON
CUSTOM HOMES AND REMODELING, INC
In August of 2021, we had the pleasure of working with Kemp Sigmon Construction in creating the new logo design for their residential construction business. While they have been in the industry for quite a while and are well known, the latest offshoot will help keep the custom home and remodeling services separate from the heavy civil construction services.
We worked with Christy, our wonderful point person at KSCHR, and took them through our phase design process to arrive at a logo design relevant to their goals and a successful representation of their business.

THE PROCESS

PHASE 01: RESEARCH & LOGO CONCEPTS
As we do with all our projects, we started this phase with an in-depth discussion with KSCHR about the target audience for the brand and its primary competitors. Following this initial discussion, we created mood boards to explore the feel and style of the new logo design and made several logo options based on the approved mood board.

PHASE 02: PRIMARY LOGO DESIGN
After receiving valuable feedback from our clients on the logo concepts, we got to work refining the main logo design. During this project phase, we also worked on establishing logo colors.

PHASE 03: SECONDARY LOGO DESIGNS
With the approval of the final logo design, we move one to produce a complete family of logos. Finally, we created this logo family, so our client has a logo ready for (almost) any situation and space.
At the end of the project, we delivered our Kemp Sigmon with a great logo design that encompassed their services and stood out from their competition. So if you’re in the Hickory, NC area, keep an eye out for them!
